Payment Methods
We accept all major credit/debit cards, bank transfers and cheques as payment methods. As an online company we recommend instant card payments as this ensures your order can be despatched the same day. We only despatch orders once we have received full payment for the goods.
Google Checkout
Google Checkout is an online payment processing service provided by Google which simplifies the process of paying for online purchases.
Users store their credit or debit card and shipping information in their Google Account, so that they can purchase at participating stores at the click of a button. Google Checkout also offers fraud protection, as well a unified page for tracking purchases and their status.
Once you've registered your details with Google Checkout, there's no need to enter your payment and shipping information on our site, all you have to do is click the Google Checkout button and log-in to their site with your Google username and password.
If you choose to pay using Google Checkout you will be redirected to the Google login where you can confirm delivery details. Once you have submitted your order we are then notified by Google and will despatch your software. The only personal data that we see will be the order and the delivery information.
Credit/Debit Cards
If you are placing your very first order with eCost Software our policy is to ship the goods to the address of the cardholder. Once this order has been fully completed, we can ship any future orders to alternative addresses when required.
If it is imperative for the software to be sent to an alternative address please complete the order as normal providing both the billing and delivery addresses along with as much information as possible in the comments box provided. Please be aware that shipping to an alternate address may lead to a delay in despatching your order.

If you are using a Visa Electron card we may not be able to process your order. If this is the case, a member of our customer services team will contact you once your order had been received.
'Verified by Visa' & 'MasterCard SecureCode'
To guarantee the security of our orders, eCost Software partake in two identity-checking services that takes the risk out of online retail, not just for us and also for our customers. These services are provided by Visa & MasterCard. Once you have provided us with your card details you will then be redirected to their secure server to enter further security details, such as a PIN or security password known only to you and your bank. This system protects you against unauthorized use of your card when shopping online at our store and participating online retailers.
Cheque/Bank Transfers
If you would like to pay by a cheque or bank transfer, please call our sales team on 0844 324 5428 who will raise a pro-forma invoice. Payment details will then be emailed to you. It is important to always include our order number on all communication, especially when paying by bank transfer where you must use it as the reference ID.
Once we have received your cheque there will be a four working day clearing period from the moment the cheque is banked to actually despatching your goods. For bank transfers the clearing time is quicker and usually results in a same-day despatch.
Invoicing & Accounts
To maintain our competitive pricing, at the current time eCost Software do not offer any business/trade accounts or terms for payment.
